About Chaos Den Baseball

Founded in 2024, Chaos Den Baseball was built on the belief that success in baseball—and in life—starts with strong fundamentals, relentless work ethic, and a commitment to growth. We strip away the fluff and focus on what truly matters: classic baseball fundamentals combined with cutting-edge techniques to push players to the next level.

We sound like a broken John Cena record with “Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect,” but that’s because we live by it. Our approach is simple: build trust, foster development, and create an environment where players thrive.

what we believe

At Chaos Den Baseball, we understand that no two players learn the same way. Some are visual learners, others learn through repetition, and some need a mental approach. That’s why we customize our coaching to fit each athlete, ensuring they get the most out of every lesson, drill, and game situation.

We are a family-owned training facility, and that sense of family extends to every player who walks through our doors. Our goal is to develop well-rounded athletes—not just skilled players, but individuals who embody discipline, teamwork, and a deep love for the game.

Coach Lori Zimmerman

Softball Pitching Coach Extraordinaire

“I started playing softball at the age of 7, I began pitching when I was 9. I played at an elite level from 13-16. I earned a full ride scholarship to WVU my Sophomore year of high school. My 2 special pitches were a 70 MPH fast ball and a wicked curve ball.

Teaching pitching became my closest thing to being back in the circle, my Junior year I had an injury to my rotator cuff which voided my hopes and dreams of being a D1 player.

About coach Lori

When you hear me preach on rest days, and stretching and recovering you may thank me one day. I repeat it to prevent anyone from their own dreams shattering. I will teach your softball player at any level. If it’s introduction to pitching or even at an advanced level.

Introduction will be learning the basics. I have a great 5 step process that will get that motion going then we can build on it, starting with a normal fast ball.

Advanced level will be ensuring they have mastered the basics and are ready for some more complex pitches like: Curve ball, drop ball, change up, and a riser.

No matter what level your player is on I will also teach them the proper techniques for stretching and how to recover their arm.  My goal is to see them grow and succeed in all they want in the circle!”
